Matthew DeGuire

Matthew DeGuire Co-owner and Founder of Travel Unlimited

One of the founding owners of Travel Unlimited in 1990, I have been a travel advisor for nearly 40 years. In that time, I’ve visited countless destinations in the Caribbean, the Americas, Europe and Asia. With an undergraduate degree in foreign languages, and post graduate work in international business, I have a wealth of world knowledge and experience. Since starting Travel Unlimited, I’ve been called upon many times for expert advice, quoted in Time Magazine, The State Newspaper and appearing on local television news broadcasts.

I make it a priority to keep up with the latest airline and travel technology. I am constantly updated on new policies, procedures and promotions offered by the airlines, and can easily sort through the often-confusing options. Whether it’s an airline’s seating policy, new airline classes of service, ever- changing international routes, aircraft configuration, change penalties – I’m the travel adviser with the latest information – analysis that you won’t find on an internet site.

I particularly enjoy arranging air, hotel and car reservations for small businesses, especially those with international travel needs. In addition to business travel, I have many years of experience arranging vacation travel to the Caribbean, with an emphasis on adult-only, all-inclusive properties.

Randy Moore

Randy Moore Co-owner and Travel Advisor – International Travel Specialist

I joined Travel Unlimited as co-owner and travel advisor in 1995. In addition, I have over 30 years of experience in the travel industry, working in both corporate and leisure travel. Over these three decades I have watched the travel industry change exponentially. I continue to stay informed about booking trends, new modes of transportation, regulations and the latest destinations. For leisure clients, I specialize in European and Caribbean travel, with an emphasis on river cruises and adult-only, all-inclusive vacations. Whether it is a family reunion cruise, or a deluxe customized trip for two to exotic locations, I strive to anticipate my clients’ needs and guide them to the perfect travel experience.

On the corporate side, I work closely with small to medium sized businesses as well as large universities to develop and implement travel policies that best fit their needs. Thanks to my experience, I’ve been fortunate to be quoted in national publications such as the Wall Street Journal and NBCnews.com. My goal is to make the stressful world of business travel as smooth as possible - every client, every trip.

Nanette Butler Travel Advisor Specialist for Ireland, Scotland and US National Parks

Growing up an “Air Force brat” I rely on more than my 28 years of experience as a travel professional to help guide my clients in their travel decisions. Having lived in 5 states, Newfoundland, Canada, England and Spain, these travels of my younger years inspired my choice of profession. And I’ve visited dozens more states and countries since then. I was born to travel and encourage others to explore our world!

My range of travel expertise is wide - I have arranged hot air balloon tours in New Zealand, tickets to the Sydney Opera House, castle stays in Ireland and just about everything in between.

I also enjoy working with corporate clients, helping them manage their travel time and budgets. I work with several organizations and churches, arranging groups for mission work, schools, meetings and conventions.

I’m happy to say that I’ve spent this entire century with Travel Unlimited, starting in March of 2000!

Lea Mangum

Lea Mangum An independent contractor for Travel Unlimited

I am a lifelong resident of South Carolina, born in Lancaster and currently living in Lexington since 1992. I have been a travel advisor in the greater Columbia area since 1990, the same year that Travel Unlimited started!

Although I work from home, I arrange travel on a full-time basis, selling trips of all types to all destinations – airline tickets, cruises, tours and packages for individuals and groups. I am also a Certified Sandals Specialist.

An active member and elder at Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church, I am married with five children and three grandchildren!

While I am a relatively new addition to the Travel Unlimited family, my experience as a travel advisor goes back to the 1980’s. After taking several years off to raise my family, I am back in the game!

I have visited most of the Caribbean Islands, taken many cruises and am very familiar with travel to the tropics. I have also traveled extensively in Italy. Whether for a small group, a honeymoon or individual leisure traveler, I always go the extra mile to make sure that all the details are covered and everything runs smoothly.
